Born and raised in La Jolla, California, Attorney Michael J. Boyajian obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from California State University, Humboldt in 1982 (senior year at Chengchi University in Taipei, Taiwan). He then received a Juris Doctorate degree at Southwestern University School of Law (externship researching Chinese investment and development laws with the Law Firm of David C. Buxbaum in Hong Kong and Guangzhou, China).
Upon admission to the State Bar of California, Mr. Boyajian returned to the United States to represent major financial institutions downtown Los Angeles. He then joined the Fresno County Counsel's Office, where, among other things, he handled all zoning and building violations. Mr. Boyajian was then hired by the insurance defense firm of Borton, Petrini & Conron, where he fine-tuned his litigation abilities in their Fresno and Santa Barbara offices. He then gained further real estate/real property and public entity experience while serving both the City of Morro Bay and the City of Pismo Beach as their Assistant City Attorney, and the San Simeon Community Services District as its Assistant General Counsel.
Mr. Boyajian now specializes in real estate/real property mediation and litigation, including easement and boundary issues, construction defect and other types of construction disputes, and issues concerning land use, permits and zoning. Mr. Boyajian also handles landlord/tenant
